4. About Our Services
Transigo Travel specializes in private transportation management and selected travel experiences.
Our responsibilities include:
- receiving booking requests;
- arranging transportation services;
- managing a vetted network of licensed transportation partners;
- customer communication;
- booking management;
- quality monitoring;
- customer support.
Transportation services are delivered through carefully selected licensed local transportation partners operating in the relevant destination.
5. Nature of Our Business
Transigo Travel acts as the contractual service organizer and booking management company for services purchased through our website.
To fulfil reservations, we assign services to licensed local transportation partners selected and coordinated by Transigo Travel.
We carefully select our transportation partners based on operational reliability, licensing requirements and service quality standards.
Transportation partners remain independent professional service providers and are responsible for their own operational licenses, vehicles, drivers and mandatory local insurance.
6. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements in order to make a booking.
By making a reservation you confirm that:
- all information provided is accurate;
- you have authority to book for all passengers included in the reservation;
- you accept these Terms on behalf of all passengers.
7. Booking Process
Bookings may be submitted through:
- our website;
- approved booking partners;
- email;
- customer support.
Before submitting a booking request, customers should have the opportunity to review the main service details, price, pickup and destination information, selected options and applicable cancellation conditions.
A booking becomes binding only after:
- availability has been confirmed;
- payment, where applicable, has been successfully received or authorized;
- a booking confirmation has been issued.
Until confirmation has been sent, availability cannot be guaranteed.
Where bookings are made through a third-party platform, the booking flow, payment process and customer account interface may be operated by that platform. The platform terms may also apply, provided that mandatory consumer rights are not limited.
7A. Product-Specific Conditions
The product page, checkout page, booking confirmation or relevant platform listing may contain product-specific conditions, including vehicle category, route details, inclusions, exclusions, waiting time, cancellation deadline, non-refundable elements and supplier-specific restrictions.
Where product-specific conditions are clearly displayed before booking confirmation, they prevail over general wording in these Terms to the extent they relate to the specific booking and do not limit mandatory legal rights.
8. Information Required for Bookings
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate booking information, including where applicable:
- passenger names;
- pickup location;
- destination;
- flight number;
- arrival date and time;
- cruise information;
- hotel information;
- contact telephone number;
- number of passengers;
- luggage information;
- child seat requirements;
- any mobility or accessibility needs.
Failure to provide accurate information may affect our ability to perform the requested service.
9. Prices
Unless otherwise stated:
- prices are displayed in the selected currency;
- prices include applicable taxes unless indicated otherwise;
- prices relate to the specific service described during booking.
Additional charges may apply where they are clearly disclosed or agreed, including where:
- the customer requests additional stops;
- waiting time exceeds the included allowance;
- significant booking modifications are requested after confirmation;
- services outside the confirmed booking are requested;
- larger vehicle capacity becomes necessary due to inaccurate passenger or luggage information.
Optional paid extras should not be added by default. Where express consent is legally required for additional payments, such consent must be obtained before the customer is charged.
10. Payment
Payment methods may vary depending on the booking channel.
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment service providers. Transigo Travel does not intentionally store complete payment card details or card verification codes such as CVV or CVC after authorization.
A booking may require:
- full payment;
- partial payment;
- payment authorization;
- payment upon confirmation,
depending on the applicable booking conditions.
The checkout or booking interface should clearly indicate where placing an order creates an obligation to pay.
Customers may be required to complete authentication or verification steps required by their bank, card issuer or payment service provider.
We reserve the right to cancel unpaid or unauthorized reservations.
11. Booking Confirmation
Following successful payment, where applicable, and supplier confirmation, customers will receive a booking confirmation on a durable medium such as email or through the relevant booking platform.
The booking confirmation may include:
- booking reference;
- service details;
- pickup instructions;
- price and payment status;
- applicable cancellation conditions;
- contact information where appropriate;
- the identity or contact details of the assigned operating provider where available and operationally appropriate.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the confirmation and informing us promptly of any inaccuracies.
12. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- arrive at the agreed pickup location on time;
- provide accurate travel information;
- ensure all passengers comply with local laws;
- behave respectfully toward drivers and staff;
- follow reasonable safety instructions;
- ensure children travel in accordance with local legal requirements.
Customers are responsible for ensuring they possess any travel documentation required by law.
13. Service Performance
Transigo Travel is committed to coordinating transportation services in a professional, reliable and customer-focused manner.
While every reasonable effort is made to ensure that services are performed according to the confirmed booking, travel services may occasionally be affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We work exclusively with transportation providers who are appropriately licensed to operate in the jurisdictions where services are provided and who are expected to comply with applicable legal and safety requirements.
14. Transportation Providers
Transportation services booked through Transigo Travel are delivered through carefully selected licensed local transportation partners.
Each transportation partner operates under the licenses, permits and regulatory obligations applicable in the country where the transportation service is delivered.
Transigo Travel is responsible for the booking interface, pre-contractual information under its control, booking administration, customer communication, complaint handling, reasonable supplier selection and coordination, and any obligations that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
The operating transportation partner remains responsible for:
- physically operating the vehicle;
- driver licensing;
- vehicle maintenance;
- local transport-law compliance;
- mandatory insurance required by local law;
- road-safety and route-execution obligations applicable to the operating provider.
This allocation of responsibilities does not limit any mandatory consumer rights.
15. Vehicle Categories
Vehicle photographs displayed on the Website are illustrative unless expressly stated otherwise.
Customers reserve a vehicle category rather than a specific vehicle model.
Where operationally necessary, an equivalent or higher vehicle category may be provided without additional charge.
16. Flight Monitoring
Where customers provide valid flight information during booking, Transigo Travel and/or the assigned transportation provider will make reasonable efforts to monitor the flight status.
Reasonable delays resulting from commercial flight schedule changes are generally accommodated where operationally possible.
Customers remain responsible for providing accurate flight information.
Failure to provide correct flight details may affect the availability of complimentary waiting time.
17. Waiting Time
Unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation:
Airport pickups generally include a complimentary waiting period beginning from the actual landing time of the flight.
Hotel and private address pickups generally include a shorter complimentary waiting period beginning from the agreed pickup time.
The applicable waiting period may vary depending on the destination, service category or local operational conditions.
Where additional waiting time is requested and accepted, supplementary charges may apply.
18. Customer Delays
If the customer anticipates a delay, they should contact Transigo Travel or the transportation provider as soon as reasonably possible.
Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate delayed passengers.
However, continued availability cannot be guaranteed where substantial delays interfere with operational schedules.
19. No-Show
A booking may be treated as a "No-Show" where:
- the customer cannot be contacted using the information provided;
- the customer fails to arrive within the applicable waiting period;
- no alternative arrangements have been agreed;
- incorrect booking information prevents service delivery.
No-Show situations are governed by the applicable Cancellation & Refund Policy.
20. Booking Changes
Customers may request modifications to confirmed bookings.
Modification requests are subject to:
- operational feasibility;
- supplier availability;
- notice period;
- potential price adjustments.
Material changes requested shortly before the scheduled service may not be possible.
21. Service Interruptions
Despite careful planning, services may occasionally be affected by circumstances including:
- severe weather;
- road closures;
- traffic incidents;
- airport operational disruptions;
- government restrictions;
- strikes;
- security incidents;
- public emergencies.
Where reasonably possible, Transigo Travel will seek alternative arrangements.
However, uninterrupted service cannot always be guaranteed.
22. Force Majeure
Neither Transigo Travel nor the transportation provider shall be liable for delays, interruptions or failure to perform resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- natural disasters;
- extreme weather;
- war;
- terrorism;
- civil unrest;
- epidemics;
- pandemics;
- government actions;
- border closures;
- airport shutdowns;
- air traffic control restrictions;
- transportation infrastructure failures;
- power outages;
- cyberattacks affecting critical infrastructure.
In such circumstances, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to minimise disruption and assist customers where practical.
23. Customer Conduct
Customers are expected to behave respectfully toward drivers, customer support personnel and other passengers.
The transportation provider may refuse transportation where a passenger:
- presents a safety risk;
- behaves aggressively;
- is under the influence of alcohol or drugs to an extent that may endanger others;
- causes damage to property;
- violates applicable laws.
Where transportation is refused for these reasons, refunds may not be available.
24. Luggage
Customers are responsible for ensuring that luggage information provided during booking is accurate.
If luggage exceeds the capacity of the reserved vehicle category, Transigo Travel may recommend an alternative vehicle.
Additional charges may apply where larger vehicles become necessary due to incorrect luggage information.
Customers remain responsible for their personal belongings before, during and after transportation.
25. Limitation of Liability
Transigo Travel shall exercise reasonable care and professional diligence in coordinating transportation services and managing bookings.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Subject to mandatory consumer protection legislation, Transigo Travel shall not be liable for losses resulting directly or indirectly from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- extraordinary traffic conditions;
- weather events;
- airport operational disruptions;
- government restrictions;
- actions or omissions of third parties outside our reasonable control;
- inaccurate information provided by the Customer.
Where liability is established, it shall be limited to direct and reasonably foreseeable losses arising from the confirmed booking, except where a greater level of liability is required by applicable law.
Transigo Travel shall not be liable for:
- indirect losses;
- loss of business opportunities;
- loss of profits;
- consequential damages;
- emotional distress not otherwise compensable under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms affects statutory consumer rights.
25A. Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any mandatory rights that consumers may have under Romanian law, European Union law, or the mandatory consumer law of their country of habitual residence where such protection applies.
For passenger transportation services and certain dated leisure or travel services, statutory withdrawal rights may not apply in the same way as for ordinary distance contracts. In such cases, the cancellation conditions clearly displayed before booking confirmation and in the booking confirmation will apply, together with any mandatory rights that cannot be excluded.
The Cancellation & Refund Policy should be read as a commercial cancellation policy unless a mandatory legal rule provides otherwise.
26. Lost Property
Passengers are responsible for ensuring that all personal belongings are collected before leaving the vehicle.
If an item is reported as lost, Transigo Travel will make reasonable efforts to assist in locating it by coordinating with the relevant transportation provider.
Recovery of lost property cannot be guaranteed.
Where the transportation provider or courier incurs reasonable costs associated with returning lost property, such costs may be payable by the Customer.
27. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our services, we encourage you to notify us as soon as reasonably possible.
Complaints should preferably be submitted within 14 days after completion of the service.
Complaints should include:
- booking reference;
- travel date;
- description of the issue;
- supporting photographs or documents where available.
Transigo Travel will acknowledge receipt of the complaint and will make reasonable efforts to investigate the matter promptly in cooperation with the relevant transportation provider where necessary.
28. Customer Feedback
We value customer feedback as part of our continuous quality improvement process.
By submitting reviews, suggestions or feedback, you grant Transigo Travel a non-exclusive right to use such feedback for internal quality management and service improvement purposes.
Personal information contained in feedback will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
